Happiness
The fragile butterfly,
That fell from the sky
And landed on your shoulder
Like the bluish reflections of the sky
So you shine in the words of ignorant men.
You call it to you,
You call to him,
It does not come.
You long for it,
It promises,
It forgets.
Happiness.
It's really a butterfly,
Yet you must wish to lure it.
Slowly, quietly
Unfurl the canvas of colour.
Will it dive into your hand?
No.
It will sit gently on your shoulders,
Just one false move,
It'll take off and fly away.
How do you hold it?
Keep it still?
But fortune favours the brave.
Take firm steps forward.
But beware of the butterfly,
Maybe it's the whole world.
