Lucifer's sonnet

Like a black nothingness a terror surrounded me;

I have lost my breath, the flame is dying,

I have torn up all the poems,

The soul within me falls asleep...

And here what? A shiver ran down my spine,

Here is a fire, here is a devastating blaze.

It's swallowed all my voice,

I'm pulled back into the clouds by a steely blast.

But I'm still drowning,

In the distance, so far away

In a sandstorm of words.

I'm losing myself,

I burn,

I turn further into ash.
